Naps tend to be only 30-40 minutes long.
Frequent early-morning wake-ups that are causing overtiredness and crankiness all day long.
You're spending all day trying to get them to sleep, and it feels like it takes forever for them to finally fall asleep.
You’re spending an hour getting them to sleep, only for them to wake up 30 minutes later.
Only sleep on you or only being held.
Wake every 1-2 hours to feed throughout the night.
You’re rocking/bouncing/feeding your child back to sleep every time they wake up at night.
You’ve reached the point where you're bed-sharing (co-sleeping) just to stretch out a nap or survive the night.
Your intuition is telling you that your child isn’t getting enough sleep.
You’re feeling overwhelmed and burnt out from sleep deprivation, and it’s affecting your entire mood and health. And your partners.
You're ready for a change, but you want to make sure you're doing it right.
You deeply want the best for your child and want to learn more about how to help them get connected and get restorative sleep.
Linda Exumé
Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Owner and Founder of The Sleep Habit LLC
I am a mom to a wonderful 3-year-old, a former nanny, a trained Newborn Care Specialist, and a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant.
My passion for sleep began long before I became a mother. I spent several years caring for infants and young children as a nanny and worked in different roles at many childcare centers. Because of my professional background and training, I knew exactly how to lay the right foundations for my son's sleep from day one. By applying the same techniques I now teach, I helped my son learn early independent sleep habits, which encouraged him to start sleeping through the night at nine weeks old.
Now, I specialize in helping other moms do the same, whether that means setting a healthy sleep foundation from the start with sleep conditioning or step-by-step guidance to fix existing sleep challenges through age-appropriate sleep training methods.
"When parents take the lead in shaping their baby’s sleep habits, they provide them with the best possible chance at developing a healthy relationship with sleep."

My Philosophy
Teach your child the skill of falling asleep independently at bedtime and to sleep 10–12 restorative hours in their own crib.
Establish consistent routines and use an age-appropriate sleep training method you are comfortable with.
Lead with confidence so you feel confident in your parenting and your child's sleep habits.
My Client-Led Approach
My virtual 1:1 sleep consulting services are client-led, meaning you remain at the center of the process.
Just as every family is different, so is every child. In my personalized sleep plans, I meet each child where they are and tailor the plan to their developmental stage, temperament, current sleep association(s), while keeping your sleep goals and parenting style in mind.
In the sleep plan, I will give you my best recommendation on which age-appropriate sleep training method to use, along with two to three additional options for you to consider. If you prefer a faster approach or a more gradual transition, it is your choice. You'll choose the sleep training option that feels most comfortable for you. I will coach you through whichever one you decide.
During your sleep support consultation, my focus is on you and your child's progress. I am your accountability partner to keep you on track. You will have access to me daily through unlimited text/voice message support (7 am-9 pm). Check-ins are around 7 am, and you can reach out anytime throughout the day with questions. I will troubleshoot when needed, and we will pivot the plan together.
If you’d like extra support during the first night or two, I’m happy to provide overnight guidance for an additional fee. Many families find this helpful as they get started.
