SCHEDULE A FREE DISCOVERY CALL
Effective Date: August 2025
This policy outlines the limited circumstances, within a 24-hour window, under which a client may be eligible for a refund for sleep consulting services purchased from The Sleep Habit LLC and services provided by the Consultant (“Linda,” “me,” “I”). By purchasing services and signing the Client Service Agreement, the Client (“you”) agree to these terms.
Payments and Refunds
Cancellations made within 24 hours of purchase and signing the Client Service Agreement in the quote are eligible for a full refund, provided that services have not yet begun.
All payments are securely processed via Stripe. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution's processing time. Learn more about Stripe’s customer refunds here.
Refund Eligibility Window
A “Purchase” is defined as the point at which the quote is accepted, payment is received, and the Client Service Agreement is signed.
You may cancel and receive a 100 % refund within 24 hours of the Purchase timestamp.
After 24 hours, services are non-refundable. However, you may still use any remaining sessions or services for up to six (6) months from the original purchase date.
After six (6) months, all unused services will expire and will not be credited, extended, or refunded.
How to Request a Refund (within 24 hours)
To request a refund within the 24-hour window, please email linda@thesleephabitconsulting.com with the following information:
Your full name and the email used at checkout.
The invoice number or receipt.
A clear statement that you wish to cancel the service and request a refund.
The timestamp on your email (or that recorded in our CRM system, 17hats) will determine whether the request falls within the 24-hour refund window.
Deferral Policy (during support)
If unforeseen circumstances arise and you need to pause your sleep support, you may defer remaining services for up to six (6) months from the date of purchase. Acceptable reasons include personal emergencies, illness, or other significant disruptions.
To request a deferral, please submit a written request via email. Services will not be refundable or transferable during or after the deferral period. When you're ready to resume, just send me a quick email, and we’ll pick up where we left off.
Consultation Calls: Rescheduling & Cancellations
To reschedule a call, please use the "Manage Booking" button in the confirmation email sent to you after booking. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
To cancel a call more than 24 hours in advance, use the same “Manage Booking” button in that confirmation email.
If canceling within 24 hours of your scheduled call, I kindly ask that you email me directly, and I’ll be happy to reschedule you. This helps ensure I can manage my schedule effectively and offer openings to other families in need of support.
No-shows or missed appointments without proper notice may result in the forfeiture of sessions. I’ll reach out via email to offer you an opportunity to reschedule.
Client Commitment
Payment reflects the personalized consulting services and dedicated one-on-one support I provide throughout our three weeks of sleep support. Clients are at their discretion to use all or part of the consulting advice and services offered that best suit their needs and with which they feel comfortable.
While I am committed to offering evidence-based methods and compassionate support, successful outcomes depend on your consistency, follow-through, and communication. Other contributing factors may include your child’s temperament, health, and environment. For these reasons, I cannot guarantee specific results and do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with outcomes.
